Hope Recovery’s Eating Disorder & Trauma Intensive Support Program (EDTISP) is for survivors who are struggling with their eating disorders and trauma and are needing more support than once per week. This program meets 3 times per week for 2 hours a day or 2 times per week for 3 hours a day and is designed for 12 to 16-weeks of programming based on the survivor’s need.
This program is for the individual who is needing extra support for a short period of time. This program is not appropriate for the individual who is a danger to themselves or others. As with all of our support programming, graphic details of trauma are not shared, rather when discussing any trauma experiences, only generalities should be shared as related to the topics being discussed. This program is not a replacement for professional therapy. This program focuses on recovery from abuse, sexual trauma, and eating disorders through coping skills, education and creative arts.
We request that you discuss participation in this program with your therapist, as participation in this program can bring up issues that you may need to address in therapy. An intake is required for this program.
